Endorsement Meeting 28 Day Notice:

On May 12, 2026, Fresno Stonewall Democrats will meet and conduct a Special Endorsment Meeting at Los Amigos Mexican Restaurant at 5088 N Blackstone Ave (just north of Shaw & Blackstone). We start with a thirty minute social at 5:30 PM so everyone has time to greet each other, exchange information or flyers, and order dinner and drinks before the meeting. We call to order at 6:00 PM.

Endorsement Re-vote:

Following the Endorsement Meeting on March 10, 2026, in which Maria Pacheco won the endorsement for Fresno County Board of Supervisors D1, the Executive Board of Fresno Stonewall Democrats found it necessary to rescind that endorsement based on an answer on her questionnaire that was deemed inconsistent with known facts.

Based on clarification provided by the candidate at the April 14 Monthly Meeting, members voted to call for a re-vote on this endorsement. As a re-vote would count as an Endorsement Meeting, this email serves as 28 day notice of such a meeting.

Please join us on May 12, 2026, to vote on this endorsement.

We are excited to welcome Robin McGehee back this month! She will address us at Tuesday’s meeting on a new project called Together Across America.

Together Across America (TAA) is dedicated to building a national network that bridges growing political divisions by mobilizing a broad, diverse movement. TAA is not an organization, it is a national effort to brand a campaign for change. TEAM TAA brings people together, neighbor to neighbor, community to community, across party, race, gender, geography, culture, immigration status, and class. It serves as a hub, a nucleus of impassioned organizers, change-makers, leaders, and everyday Americans who are ready to take bold action within their communities.
