BRADLEY MANNING TREATMENT VIOLATED THE US CONSTITUTION

Bradley Manning was an LGBT equality activist before he became an enemy of the state.

Juan Ernesto Mendez, who heads the U.N. office created by the U.N. Commission on Human Rights, bestowed with the mandate “to examine questions relevant to torture” has determined “Bradley Manning was subjected to cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment in the excessive and prolonged isolation” to which he was subjected at Quantico.

But if Manning was subjected to cruel and unusual punishment as this implies isn’t this in violation of the Eighth Amendment to the Constitution?  Shouldn’t the officials responsible be on trial for violating our highest laws?  Do any of our laws matter when they interfere with the plans of the National Security State or corporate greed at any cost?

About the Stonewall Riots on June 28,1969

“Prior to that summer there was little public expression of the lives and experiences of gays and lesbians. The Stonewall Riots marked the beginning of the gay liberation movement that has transformed the oppression of gays and lesbians into calls for pride and action. In the past twenty-five years we have all been witness to an astonishing flowering of gay culture that has changed this country and beyond, forever.”

- Ken Harlin on the 25th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots in NYC.
